Yah, both of us ordered the same thing -.- We were too fulled for another toast but will definitely try the signature sunny egg toast next time! The food is pretty healthy and price is reasonable, too!

Have been quite caught up lately, didn't really have time to blog :/ Had one week break but it was fully utilized with plans, good thing eyh? So talking about last Friday, with the Penang bloggers gang, we had a farewell dins with Constance, whom will be leaving to her hometown for good. Constance can be said to be my second blogger friend that I've known in Penang. Seriously I will be missing her loads when attending events as a great companion! She has/always been a nice friend/sister to us.  

Well, Henry suggested Gala House to dine in that night, which all of us have never been before (previously was Soul Kitchen). Considered quite new lahh

I personally like this dish the most! I usually eat only fresh salmons as grilled ones normally won't turn out nice. But, grilled salmon of gala's unexpectedly tasted fine! Some of them complaint it's abit salty though. For me, it's ok :)

Overall, the main complaint is the indoor dining area is a lil bit warm and not-so-well ventilated. Maybe because of the narrow spaces. Otherwise, the workers are very friendly and the food was good too.

Kaffa Espresso Bar

So, my partner-in-crime and I randomly decided to escape back in Penang during the one-day Haji public holiday. No doubt, it was way too bored staying in the campus and growing mushroom :X We eventually ended up hopping into a new cafe in Penang - Kaffa Espresso Bar. 

Menu on the chalkboard seems to be very common in cafes these days.

It was a rainy day to enjoy a nice cuppa coffee!

This cafe also has their very own painted wall art 

I'm in love with the ambiance here. It's quite a relaxing and comfortable place to chill out at.

Salted Caramel Macchiato RM12.50

Rating: 8/10

So, we tried the highly recommended salted caramel macchiato. Tasted like salty coffee.

Turkey Ham Sandwhich RM16.90

Rating: 6/10

We ordered Big Bite Breakfast originally. But, they gave us the wrong order :/ Blur us, only realized that after stuffing everything in our tummy. Well, the turkey ham sandwich was rather a disappointing one. I can make this sandwhich myself lahh :p If you get what I meant

The scramble eggs were rather nice tho!

Smoked Salmon Sandwich RM16.90

Rating: 8.5/10

I tapao-ed this back home and it still taste yummm after a long whole day. Not so bad afterall :)

Overall the food was okay but certainly not a place to be patronized frequent as the price was quite steep for students :/
